What a joy to stay here! Old time motel feel, with old appointments, cozy. Very close to great eating and drinking options, as well as a park and galleries and a movie theater. Would definitely stay again -- great value for price.
This charming motel is a throwback to the days of cross-country road trips. It’s definitely a bit outdated, but in the best possible way. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent—just a couple of blocks from the square.
Add in the reasonable price, and all of these factors make this a place I’ll definitely return to the next time I’m in town.
Great location to square. Cost was real afforable.Heated pool and good coffee. Penelope was very helpful and friendly. We frequent paso so this was a nice find as we used to go to The budget. The owner really cares about running an affordable motel with real nice beds and great a/c. We will return
This place made for a great stay for a family members wedding that was right around the corner. The price was right compared to some other hotels that were in the area especially during early June which seems to be peak vacation time in the wine country in that area. The staff was amazingly helpful and made our stay that much better !
Overall this is a great no frills place to stay without all the posh stuff. I was surprised that one of the owners remember me from my last visit. Great family run property.
It is easy walking distance to all of downtown and. A few short blocks from the Train station.
There is even a full service Italian restaurant located next door.
If you are looking save some money and stay in a slightly dated facility, it does its job. I was barely in my room and spent most of it exploring Paso Robles.
Room was clean and staff was friendly. Some aesthetic repairs needed in our room - some cracks in drywall and holes in curtains. This did not affect our stay nor was this a problem. Just wear and tear from an old property. With that being said, it was cheap, convenient, and we will return.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVED THIS PROPERTY! From start to finish, the staff was kind, friendly and helpful. The property is adorable. I love older properties that have kept their charm. This one is impeccable! After check-out, Penelope was very sweet to let us leave our car in the parking lot so that we could walk to breakfast/brunch. My daughter took a swim in the pool out front and Penelope brought us pool towels without us even having to ask. :) We will definitely return on our next trip to Paso Robles. Thank you!
This is our 3rd or 4th time to stay here on the way to Orange County to see our family from San Francisco. It has always great price , location and really nice staff greeting us. This time, I left my prescription glasses in the room, I called them and left a message. They called me back, let me know they have my glasses and mail back to my home. She was so helpful and nice. It is a basic thing to me, but there are so many motels/hotels once you leave something, they just say “sorry, we can’s find it”.
