This was a repeat visit to this beautiful mountain cabin. Good location for hiking and sight seeing, plus close to the restaurant at Tapaco Lodge.
Liz and Anna, the proprietors, are fabulous.
The cabin was well maintained and cozy. If you want to feel you are in a beautiful mountain forest surrounded by nature you won’t be disappointed. This is the perfect place to unplug with a fabulous lodge only minutes away when you want to reconnect.Liz is a fabulous owner who is friendly and accommodating. She helped make our stay perfect. We all enjoyed our stay!
Our stay was incredible... The cabin was awesome... It was very peaceful and we enjoyed our time there.... We were there for a car event/meet to experience the Tail of the Dragon and there was plenty of room for my truck and trailer... Huge bonus in my opinion... We hope to book again next year... Thank you...

Great owners/managers ... were pleasant, attentive, and generous. The cabin was comfy and well provisioned. Was glad for no internet reception. A bit of a lovely drive to reach the property ... and many wonderful regional places to explore. Even some serene spa options available at the adjacent retreat. A great getaway!
The cabin was very clean and well maintained. It is extremely quiet. Recommend taking your own books or activities if spending time in the cabin. We had a quiet relaxing time at the cabin. The property manager was very sweet and attentive. Thanks for a great stay.
Nice cabin, comfortably furnished, very peaceful location, excellent porch for watching leaves blow, lovely host. Some of the window hardware had been damaged by previous renters, but we told the host and I’m sure she’s taking care of it. Fall color here must be amazing.
My wife and i took a long weekend for valentines day. Quiet and peacful place to enjoy some quiet time. We will be back! Liz is a gracious host. Checkin was as easy as it gets. Thank you Liz for sharing your slice of heaven! See you soon!!
Visiting lifelong friend living <2 miles from cabin!
Best host yet! Accessible, friendly- exceptionally clean & cozy cabin. Quiet & isolated - but just down the road from exceptional restaurant & pub. Thank you, Lizzie!! Hope to see you again and again! Dave & Barb (retired & picky!). 20******!
This is a very lovely cabin in the woods. Beautiful, peaceful setting and convenient to hiking, kayaking and Tapoco Lodge for a meal. The owner, Liz, is very gracious and informative. And the bonus is that the cabin is part of a healing center called the Heart Center established in an old school. The Center is also owned by Liz. Yoga, Reiki and other quality healing treatments are available from Liz and others who are wonderful. We loved it and will return!
Overall we had a great stay here! It was very quiet and secluded. Everything was as stated in the advertisement, so you know exactly what to expect. Our hosts did check in to make sure that everything was good :)
Just a note for anyone towing a small trailer with motorcycles - it is not easy to navigate in, but not impossible with an experienced driver. We managed! There is a lot of space to park at the bottom of the hill as well.
The only thing that would have improved our experience would be wifi at the cabin, but it was not a deal-breaker for our stay.
Liz and her partner were amazing! Very inviting and sweet hostesses! We had an absolutely relaxing trip and are going back next year! I would have given all 5 stars but the only down fall is we were unable to work from the cabin. We misunderstood we didn’t have WiFi in the actual cabin aLao making it difficult to communicate with Liz unless we went somewhere we had service. We do wish the living room had had a bigger tv….. but overall it was a 5 star rating. We will just plan better next yr but can’t wait to stay with them again! We’re really looking forward to it. Thank you Ladies!
