"The property was beautiful and unique. We enjoyed the garden sitting area, small kitchen, and the fans available in the sleeping area. Location was also very good. The check-in process was very difficult though as there was no-one on site. Messages sent to the number provided were not responded to very quickly. "This was a beautiful hotel, very convenient to everything in town and a great starting point for a long hike around the fields and cliffs in the area. One thing is having better communication around parking. I tried emailing both on hotels.com and their own website to see about reserving ahead of time and never heard back here and literally couldn’t submit the form on their website. If you don’t call about parking just plan to park somewhere else in Étretat from the start. We pulled into the lot and had a hard time getting out bc it’s very very small even for compact cars so just keep that in mind if you’re driving. We parked at Parking du Grand Val and it was just a short walk to the hotel from there so really not an inconvenience if you plan ahead of time."

"Would have no problem staying here again the location is ideal/beautiful, the property is clean throughout and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated but after a long days walk I was more than happy to find this hotel. The breakfast was basic but also very good. The only problem I had was the size of the shower it was difficult to get washed. Anyone who has installed a second shower at 600x600 into a downstairs bathroom will know what I mean. That said it’s a small issue and if I am ever back in this lovely town I would have no hesitation in staying here again."

"I didn’t have many options on hotels and went with this one and what a treat. The location is fantastic. I had a sea view room with balcony and it was such a delight to be able to open the doors and take in the fresh air and sounds of revelry. I was there for less than 24 hours and I got a chance to hike up both cliffs and wander through the town. Cannot beat the convenience factor. I’m impressed by how the closed doors blocked out so much of the noise. That said, there’s no air conditioning so if you want cooler room temps you’ll need to open the door. Luckily the night was mild enough that I was able to leave the door closed. The bed itself isn’t that comfortable. That doesn’t bother me because the view and convenient location more than made up for it. The staff is wonderful."
