Beach Villa One - Family Unit

The Beach Villas are within a short walk of all facilities at Riversdale Beach. Take a stroll along the four kilometre sandy beach, swim, surf, fish or just chill out, it's up to you!! There is a nine hole golf course just down the road, or hire the tennis courts for a game. Meals are available on Friday nights at the club and everyone is welcome. The local store sells all the essentials, as well as fishing gear, takeaways and great coffee.

Riversdale Beach is a great place to base yourself, while you take short day trips to enjoy some of the other attractions available within the area, such as; Castlepoint, the local vineyards, shopping, a visit to Pukaha Mount Bruce Bird Reserve etc.

Beach holiday with the dogs

We had a lovely stay in Riversdale. The weather was super cold and rainy which made us appreciate the comfort of the house with heatpump and cosy curtains. Would love to come back one day and enjoy summer. House is really close to the beach and the dogs lived it

Beach Villa

The villa is really well located - close to the beach and to shops. Everything you need is there. There are books and puzzles to do, so a great bolt hole for a break away from usual routines. The only issue we had was with very low water pressure which affects hot water, in the kitchen, bathroom (including the shower) and toilet.

Peaceful

Basic but all you need. Dbl bed isn’t great but pillows were nice:). Pity the yard surroundings were ugly ie looking at an ugly fence , not really a place you feel like hanging out at more just a place to sleep. Nice and handy to beach and park. Enjoyed the peaceful time of year in winter .

Comfortable beach getaway

The time at the Bach was a working holiday, and a writing retreat for my daughter and me. It served that purpose and provided us with what we needed. We assumed there would be wifi access, but it was not a big problem because we could hotspot from our phones when required. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the apartment felt cool during the summer, so a place I would look to book again in the future.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay! You were so helpful and accommodating during a very stressful time for our family. I appreciated your help, and the ease of check-in and check-out. Another incredible aspect was high quality and beautifully fresh linen on the beds when we arrived!! (I presumed we had to bring our own so this was a treat for sure). Great location for easy access to the school camp. Very reasonably priced, beautifully clean and an absolute breeze to deal with. Thank you so much. Recommend to all.

Fabulous to be able to bring our dog and be in walking distance to the beach. We were in unit one and there is no gate to keep dogs off the road, but we made it work. Very well equipped home for our stay, only disappointment was the shower - very low water pressure and old shower head. Great comms with host and loved our late check out. Def stay again.

Great size for the two of us and our two small dogs. We had front unit, no front gate so only let them out with some one to watch them.Quiet area, lots of Californian Quails, so cute.Kitchen had everything we needed, we used the BBQ too.Bed was super comfy, only grumble is the water pressure in the shower.Definitely go back for a night or two again.
