"I loved this place. Strong internet. Clean. Nice room arrangement. The bathroom area was separated from the bedroom and living room area by a wall. I could get up early, take a shower, etc., early in the morning and not disturb my girlfriend. I loved the concept of the hotel being built right next to the drive-in theatre. Sadly, there was not a movie showing. I would have loved watching a movie from the room. I would like to add that the shower head was farther than six feet, two inches off the ground because I could stand fully erect in the shower. I did not have to stoop. This hotel paid the extra five or six bucks to add an additional 12 inches or so to the shower height. BRAVO!!! We enjoyed the Monte Vista wildlife area. It was a great jumping off point for the sand dunes and my property near Antonito. I'm not a breakfast fan, but the breakfast was pretty good, too. I really, really would like to recommend this hotel. I would like to see them do well and I will certainly stay there again in the future. 5-stars. A+++. A cool place to stay and a cool, movie theme for the hotel. Stay here. Do it. Highly recommended. CLEAN!!!"

"Every time we visit the mountains we are looking for scenic views and bonus points for the sounds of the water rushing by. We couldn’t have chosen a more picturesque place to stay a night. We were enchanted by the riverside, individual rustic cabin. The ambiance was quaint with potted flowers, ambient lighting and several opportunities to sit and enjoy the sound of the Rio Grande. You could fish, enjoy the sights or even take a soak in the hot tub. We chose to sit and enjoy the sounds of the river, the sunset, and the ambling bears wrestling in the yard across the way. 10/10 would absolutely stay if we are in the area again. Thank you for a memorable anniversary experience!"

"This was such a neat and fun hotel to experience! The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and well kept. Great Sand Dunes was about a 45 minute drive so close enough but still far enough that you could explore some other things. Will definitely stay again!"

"Absolutely amazing stay at the beautiful River ranch house! Property was so cool to explore and we caught our limits of keeper trout at the river. So neat to be immersed in nature and loved seeing the Mule deer come up to the large windows on the back porch! House was cozy and clean and the newly renovated bathrooms look awesome! Thank you, Pargins, for an unforgettable stay. 'Til next year! P.S. was able to scratch a lifer off the birding list with a Green-tailed Towhee!"

"We had a great stay at this property in South Fork. The house was well equipped, clean and comfortable for our family of four including two adult kids and two dogs. The fenced yard was great and provided the pups a place to safely get exercise, a thoughtful touch given the risks of dogs getting out in a new location. Hot tub was great to have after days of exploring outdoor activities in the area. Overall a nice property."
