"Cabin was clean and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Nice view of Whiteface Mtn. The hot tub was a nice treat. Location was good. There were restaurants close by and quick drive to Lake Placid area."

"I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to emergency book a hotel 30 minutes away. Beware of the accuracy of the pictures!!!!!!!"

"Second time staying here and it was wonderful! Only 7 minutes to Whiteface and 1.5 hours to Gore Mountain! You can see whiteface mountain from the house. We will definitely be back. The house is spacious, has everything you need and more! The house was warm because of the heaters in each room and the water never went cold. I found the beds to be really comfortable too. Fell asleep instantly. "
