"Our stop on our way home with our son's dog was smooth at Ruby River.The river side rooms have a bit more space and are worth the difference in price. The location works well with the river path and distance to down town and Gonzaga. The hotel restaurant always has something good to choose to eat. The hotel is also close to a Starbucks for the morning wake up."

"Checking in was easy, however if you’re staying in the next door lot, be sure to get a pass for your dashboard; I didn’t and learned the next morning that I was close to being towed away. Otherwise, nice big comfortable rooms, used the 15% off at Steamworks Brewpub, easy to walk to Riverfront. The included breakfast at Rosie’s was excellent!"

"At first glance, things were great, big room, nice balcony. Then we noted our TV had Direct TV with no streaming services. Our room happened to be in a WiFi dead zone so I had to use my phone as a hotspot. The Direct TV kept glitching so it’s a good thing we brought games. There was a dirty bandaid in the elevator for two days until I reported it to the front desk. My sheet had a tear in it, when I reported it to the front desk, nothing happened even though I’d been assured it would be passed on to housekeeping. For the price, I was not impressed."

"I have stayed here before and had a better experience than this weekend, unfortunately. The hotel is great but our room had a terrible odor, it was next to the elevators, and our view was the parking lot. It was also very noisy at night during sleeping hours. Maybe next time I will specifically book a river view room and make sure it’s not next to the elevators."

"Our room was sparkling clean. The window on the second floor opened for fresh air. The staff quickly arranged for an extra pillow and a set of bath linen. The lobby was comfortable. The location is within walking distance of EVERYTHING!! Public transportation is excellent, even on the weekends! Breakfast was acceptable. Coffee was quite good"

"First, let me say that it is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are nice and large as well as the bathroom. Robes are horrible and scratchy, but who really needs a robe. Loud exterior noises most of the night, so if you are a light sleeper you should bring earplugs. The bed is the softest thing I have slept in, almost too soft. The bar is amazing, drinks amazing, staff amazing. The valet is amazing. The front desk not so much. We waited in line for almost 25 minutes without a sorry. It was pretty awful especially for the elderly people who were having trouble standing that long. I guess I thought this type of hotel would have offered us a bottle of water, voucher for a drink, or even a sorry…none of those things happened. Also, before booking you should know they charge an extra $20 per day for a “destination” fee…that was ridiculous. It is charged at checkout. They said it is required from the management…haha If it is on your bucket list to stay here, go for it. We did it once and not staying again. Hope this review helps you."
