「We were totally blown away by Lion Downe Cottage! The space was immaculate, the views were outstanding, it had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the great hot tub, grill, fire pit, and screened-in porch. Rob’s communication was helpful and prompt and we received some great tips for local swimming spots to enjoy the warm weather and explore this beautiful part of Wisconsin.Honestly this was one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever been in, and we absolutely want to be back!」

「Great house for a large group! 19 guests never felt crowded. Plenty of towels and dishes. House is older (built in 1888, I believe) so expect smaller bathrooms, low ceilings on third floor. Not terribly handicap friendly either. No central AC, but window units kept house plenty cool. Pinball and video game machines were added bonus.」

「Excellent location.. Amazing views. Very well outfitted. It was nice to have the basics readliy available. We've stayed in places where we needed to completely stock it with even cleaning supplies. It was obvious the hosts have tried to make their guests comfortable and feel welcome. I expected parking to be challenging, but with the provided parking pass, it was a breeze. In downtown Stillwater, that should not be taken for granted.」
