"Our group of 2 families enjoyed the stay here. We had everything we needed. The location is beautiful, but very windy. The scenery was the highlight for adults. Kids loved the mini golf and the upstairs loft (beware of the steep steps). It is about an hour drive to the volcano. Lots to see and do within an hour drive in all directions. There is nice food close by "

Just be SURE to rent a 4WD vehicle, as there are many steep and winding dirt roads to access the property with huge potholes and ruts. We knew about this area but if you have never been there be prepared for an off-road experience. Lots of birds and beauty make the effort worthwhile. Friendly and helpful caretakers. We had a lovely time:)"

"Casa 5 is possibly the best situated house in Buena Vista. It was relatively private and had a nice lake view. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms had ample drawer space as well as plenty of hangers. The space was open and comfortable."

"Very convenient with lots of activities to do. Super safe and clean. Also close to national park and La Leona (by car). Included activities are cool. Tubing is the best everdone anywhere! (Not included but worth it) A bit lack of intimacy as neighbours are very close and you can ear them talk in their room. Food is good but a bit expensive and no other choice around."

The balcony offered a stunning view of Lake Arenal, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The two hosts were fantastic - warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. They made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Breakfast each morning was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, a perfect start to the day. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would definitely stay here again!"
