"We loved the location, inside the walls; we enjoyed walking along the castle walls and wandering the twisty, old, cobblestone streets. We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink. "We had a bit of trouble finding the restaurant for the key but once we found our place it was just as we hoped. Very clean, nice bathrooms (although the rn suite bathroom shower was quite small- I call it a cruise ship showe😁). We were quite close to the walled city of Obidos. The biggest surprise was the restaurant below the property. Very unassuming when you first enter but ehdn you go up around d the corner there is a very charming restaurant that had wonderful food. "Pedro was great with communication, the space was exactly as pictured and met our needs for a one night stay. It was good we had a car as it’s a residential neighborhood (very quiet) and there aren’t any restaurants or shops in the area. There is no source of heat but when we asked about that we were provided with an electric heater in short order (late October stay and it was a rainy colder day). My only complaint would be the bed was too hard for us so I didn’t get a good sleep. "

"The views are priceless. The accommodation is a bit rustic but very nice. Great restaurants are a 15 minute walk (although the options are quite limited in early February). If you're from Ontario you'll get a kick out of the porcelain tile on the side of the building. Sorry, no spoiler pictures!"

"Great place to stay for a close walk to beach and restaurants and the trolly up the hill to see the famous waves. Room was comfortable. We even took advantage of the washer and hung our clothes out in the fresh air to dry. A little difficult to find the room in the maze of skinny side walks, but it was worth it."
