This hotel was such a gem. My room looked over the atrium so it was super quiet! Right on Copacabana beach with everything within walking distance. The pool had lots of seating and the pool bar had great food and drink options. You can even view Christ the redeemer from the rooftop.

Definitely not a five star-hotel. The carpets were old, and room smelled. However, the view of Copacabana Beach from the room on New Year’s Eve was spectacular. The staff was always ready to help, especially Thiago and Caio.

The service and location are both exceptional. The property was very clean, but dated. The towels had clearly seen better days, the tub was a high step in and didn’t have a grab bar, and the tub was very slow draining. The lounge was small but lovely with great food and drinks. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The beach chairs and umbrellas were lovely and the view from our ocean side room was great. The staff were all great - exceeded expectations. You can’t ask for a better location but is more of a Marriott with great service than a typical JW Marriott property.

On copacabana but close to ipanema too. Super friendly staff all around and good dinning choices in house. Pool was closed but the beach is just across the street so no worries. Great location and clean room!

Very nice hotel, people, an enjoyable 6 nights, the executive lounge is very good, the roof bar is nice, very nice buffet breakfast, only on observation, as 5 star hotel, it is a little tired in places, but I will go back on my next visit 👍😁

Positives: The location was excellent. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Room & common areas were clean and comfortable. Lovely rooftop with great views and wonderful service. Negative: The walls are so thin that you can hear every thing that goes on outside your room. Overall, it does not feel like a 5 star “luxury” hotel due to the building condition.

Perfect place to stay in Copacabana

Went with my daughter, safe hotel, excellent breakfast, front desk provided concierge services, there is a money exchange window inside hotel. Location close to everything, yellow taxi cabs always in front for convenience but metro is also walking distance.
