Really good hotel, clean, comfotable, near everything. Good breakfast with fruits, cakes, breads and grains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is old, but thats the beauty of the city. Downtown Rio has a lot of homeless people, but if u be carefull (not show ur phone and valuable items) you'll be fine. The hotel is in a convenient location, near the busses, metro stations and vlt, and there are a bunch of good restaurants around it too. Will definitely be returning.

Terrible experience. The hotel didn’t have the services listed to the hotel description. Expedia was not able to even contact the hotel. I lost time, money, and had a very bad experience at the hotel. I am leaving Expedia too. They were not able to resolve my issues.

I stay sep 6 to 10, 2024 elevators don't work, dirty, bedsheets with hair, refrigerator and tv don't work. Just part of the decoration. Staff member with bad actitud and only speak portuguese. I was ask 11 times if i was checking out. Front desk staff would not let me into my room becase they didn't understand the room number. DON'T STAY HERE ALSO HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL WITH IRINE AND FECAL REMEINS 10 FEET FROM THE BUILDING.

No provision for early arrivals. After traveling 13 hours by plane was asked to wait 6 hours for a room. they wanted $10 per bag to hold them until check-in. The only restroom available was up steep stairs(I am unable to walk up to it.) I paid $70 to get into the room early. The lobby was full of others waiting for check-in. There were no healthy options for the daily breakfast. They made a mistake about my end date causing me to pack and when they discovered I had another day, they offered another room (which I declined.)

Acomodações antigas, mas bem preservadas, café da manhã muito simples, mas compatível com o preço. Wifi MUITO RUIM, o recepcionista avisa logo no check in que não funciona, e deve ser utilizado o hall do hotel para uso do wifi, no quarto funcionou, mas MUITO RUIM. ´Não tem tv a cabo, somente TV local, resumindo, é bom para dormir uma noite antes de um compromisso ou viagem.

Hotel bem localizado, quarto grande, cama confortável, ótimo café da manhã. Porém não gostei do wi-fi, muito ruim, e o ambiente não pega sinal de 4G. A tv não é a cabo, o sinal é de antena via satélite e quando o tempo ficou ruim caiu o sinal. Fiquei sem tv e sem internet. A drenagem do ar condicionado acima do meu quarto estava com problema e pingava sobre o ar do meu quarto fazendo barulho a noite toda. Aliás, o ar condicionado é de janela, muito fraco, mas como o tempo estava frio, não fez diferença. Mas no calor...
