Bagage storage not free

The stay was fine, excellent breakfast with lot of choice. Only disappointment is being charged for luggage storage on the last day. I don't even know if it's hotel policy or just extra cash for the staff as there is no receipt, but either way I never had to pay to leave my luggage at reception after checkout ever before

The location was good, there was no pool, and breakfast was the same every day, with little variety. The room size was fine, but there was no microwave or refrigerator.

Bugs and ants at all rooms

Worst hotel at Rio de Janerio downtown... The bugs and ants at room... They don't get any action to change my room first night, then I forced to stay at room where there was bugs everywhere at room. Not clean sheets and toilet. Reception is rude. None know English at reception. The next to hotel, there is another ibis hotel looking good, the management is same and reception is better than ibis budget hotel where I stayed. The ibis hotel changed my room at ibis budget hotel, what a shame... Till end of my stay... I fight with ants and bugs.... They changed my room a day later , but new room also has covered by ants... I got sick by biten whole stay, then I went to doctor and get report... Doctor told me change your hotel...

This is like a half-star hotel. I had to find somewhere else to stay. This place is not like it looks in the photos. The room was extremely small, the toilet is in a one-meter box, and the walls were dirty with poop. There was no place to store the clothes, not even a minibar to cool some water. This is also the worst area to stay in Rio, it’s ugly and doesn’t feel safe at all. If this is your first time visiting and you expect a comfortable stay, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay…
