「Starting with the great location, which gives you easy access to restaurants and beaches in Ipanema and Copacabana. Also, the attention and communication from the host were awesome. And of course, the room was amazing, spotless, and exactly as shown in the pictures, with clean, comfy beds and bathrooms. The only deal-breaker for me was the stairs that take me to my room on the 3rd floor, but I wouldn’t doubt staying here again for sure.」

「This is not a quiet hotel. It is more of a B&B. It is a beautiful place, and the art installations are really interesting. The furnishings in the room are really cool and funky. 「First off, this is a favela, and it’s amazing. The views are unreal, the space is comfortable, and it’s easy to just stay here all day and not want to leave. That said, it *is* still a favela, so come prepared. If you have multiple bags, use Google Translate to arrange a motorbike or van to get up the hill.
