「We loved our stay at this property and wouln't hesitate to book it again the next time we visit. The property is located within walking distance of all of Kenmare's activities, restaurants, and shops. The kitchen is well-appointed and the bedrooms and bathrooms extremely comfortable. It truly felt like we were visiting our artistic aunt's house with beautiful art and attention to design in every room.」

The Lodge was beautifully presented, very comfortable, clean and modern, with bifold doors and great outdoor space. 「The location is beautiful and private and easy to find . Accommodation is spacious and comfortable enough ( apart from the pillows but everyone has different preferences) but felt a bit dark . It seems there is a damp issue as the property unfortunately smelt mildewy and the bed clothes were all damp on arrival which meant we had to use own blankets for the night - we wondered if there is scope to improve ventilation . The water took a long time to heat for a bath … We walked on local footpath...

Kathleen was very quick at responding to our messages and extremely helpful with all our queries. The local area was full of friendly people and so very beautiful. 「We chose this house so we could visit Skellig Island. Sadly, the trip was cancelled due to stormy weather but we didn't mind too much as the house was such a pleasure to hunker down in! We used our downtime to catch up on showers, laundry, rest, and relaxation before resuming our tour around Ireland. It was a lovely house with plenty of room to spread out, watch Banshees of Inisherin, and eat take away from Dooley's in our PJs. 「The location is beautiful and feels set apart despite being so close to services and the incredible drives and towns on the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Everything would be 5 stars except there was a little musty smell, likely coming from the carpets and perhaps older furnishings in LR. It was wonderful to have 2 lovely bathrooms, a very comfortable king bed, laundry, and a sparkling kitchen. Ann even provided fresh fruit, full size toiletries, home baked brown bread and a cooler for our day trip. She is the perfect hostess -- responsive, generous and very sweet. 「The most beautiful view/scenery you could expect. Sun in the morning was like waking up in heaven. Bathroom needs a little work, shower/toilet is a bit finicky, but the location and spectacular view makes it worth it. We would book it again.」
