「What a fantastic treehouse surprise! Absolutely beautiful and truly in the forest but steps away from a lovely sauna and hot tub, and the nicest host even has four laying hens! The route we took included some 1-2km twisty dirt road and felt like a real adventure. We stayed here for a romantic birthday two night stay while taking an excellent blacksmithing course at nearby Vans Blacksmithing in Hawkesbury, and stayed another day for open forge time. 「Beautiful cottage about 15 mins from Lachute. Had a friend get together. The group loved all the different activities available on the property. A couple of notes that might help others... The floors are creaky as others have mentioned. Additionally we were not aware there is no drinking water on site, which is good to know in advance.」

「My spouse and I decided to stay further outside of the city visiting Montreal for extra peace and quiet. It was nice to wake up and drink our coffee next to the lake. The home is well-appointed without being flashy. The beds were firm and comfortable—plenty of amenities including a fully appointed kitchen and cookware. The host was prompt and attentive, offering us to stay past checkout if needed. 10/10 would recommend.」
