The place is well-maintained and beautiful. The views of the water is stunning. The only real downfall is the walk down to the water. If you had any mobility issues, it would be difficult to get there. Went for a swim on the lake. It was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a nice quiet place to get away with friends and family.

We had a very nice stay, unfortunately the weather was not the best. Our hosts were very friendly and very accessible for any questions etc. The cottage is lovely, as is the screened in porch. The outdoor gazebo was fantastic for both shade and cover from the rain.I enjoyed all but the walk to the dock and back to the cottage. As the cottage is on a high point(amazing view), you must negate some travel to get to the water. As we are a little older in years, we found the walk up and down the 70 stairs(lost count) and then up the lawn, a bit of a challenge. My 8yo grandson had no issues whatsoever lol. The travel to and from is to be expected when you are up so high, but I needed a bench halfway as again, we are a little older. We fished off the dock for fun and caught a couple small sunfish, and dived in for a swim. Bring water shoes as you will want them to get out on the water.Lovely place, lovely cottage, lovely hosts.

The hosts were amazing. Just not what we were looking for. A long walk down a hill and about 6 flights of stairs to the water. Has a window AC so the bedrooms were warm. The kitchen is not well supplied. Not very many pots, pans, serving utensils and serving dishes. You also have to bring your own towels, linens, and blankets we prefer to bring none of that as well has hand towels in the bathroom. The driveway is very steep you slide down it while backing up with a tree on the edge. All the deck and railings are rotten and not safe. The screened in porch was lovely. Only three chairs near fire for seven guests. We wish they were more transparent having an elderly family member with us water access was very difficult. We would not book again. The roads going in are 40km very windy for over 10km.
