Front porch nice for morning coffee.Time for the pillows to be refreshed, they were quite flat.Listing states "swimming pool" which was is in accurate (and obvious from photos and the general area) , but it also states ammenities include "Washer" and "Dryer" which it does not have.」

「This is a wonderful historic property if you're into a vintage stay. We were. The home is lovely. The only disadvantages are not having a host on-site and having to get luggage up the stairs without an elevator or bellhop assitance; there are no bedrooms on the ground floor. And being vintage, it takes quite a while to adjust the temperature to where you want it. Also, it would be helpful to have television instructions; we were never able to figure out how to get anything on the TV.」

「Bed bugs in upstairs bedroom!!!Unfortunately we had a terrible experience both during and following our stay. During the stay the air conditioning was not functioning properly and we were forced to use portable AC units that didn’t get the temperature below 78 in the house.Three people sleeping upstairs had bed bug bites and upon searching the two beds we found numerous bugs. We promptly made the property owner aware of the situation and requested our stay be refunded due to the inconvenience...

「Absolutely fantastic place with everything you could need for your stay. Host was super friendly and helpful. The place is decorated very thoughtfully and was ideal for the two us and our pets. We only stayed a night while passing through on our way home to Wisconsin from Virginia. However would visit again if the opportunity presents itself.」

「What a great stay. Beautiful home with lots of room. We never felt cramped and just had a great time celebrating our aunts birthday. Great location. Quiet and yet close enough to everything we needed. Being from out of state we enjoy lees chicken a lot! Great and quick communication when needed. We often like to try new places but if we come back to the area we would stay again for sure! 」

「We really enjoyed our stay! We were in town for a University of Miami orientation. This was a fine distance away — easy to get in town, maybe 15 minutes. The countryside was beautiful at this time of year. We saw bunnies, fireflies, and lots of different kinds of birds. We were kept busier than we thought we would be, so we didn’t get a chance to use the back porch gas fire pit, which was a bummer. We also barely used the game room, although I discovered the PacMan machine also has Galaga....
