The property is exactly what we needed, quiet, serene and isolated. The cabin itself was extremely well provisioned and catered for almost everything you could want. Unfortunately we encountered a couple of really extreme heat days which highlighted the lack of sufficient cooling options inside (which is completely understandable given the off grid nature of the property) but once the sun receded, and the cooling breeze swept through everything was picture perfect. The views of the Grampians at sunset from the deck are absolutely breathtaking!
Our third night was a direct contrast in heat and we were able to make the most of the gorgeous wood fire heater and comfortable recliners whilst still enjoying the exquisite views of the Grampians.
The host, Catherine was a brilliant communicator and made our stay very enjoyable. A further highlight of the property are the friendly and approachable horses who will literally “flock you like a rockstar” for a pat and if you happen to have a few carrots on hand will happily follow you around in search of more pats and snacks. Overall, a wonderful place we would definitely return to and highly recommend!!
