"The location of this apartment is excellent and it's a great option if you're travelling with a dog, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, our stay was let down by several housekeeping issues. When we arrived, there were IKEA bags containing previous guests' dirty towels left in the hallway, which should have been removed before our arrival. "We stayed for 2 nights - 1st and 2nd of August in room 30.......it was a last minute getaway and I did a brief review of the hotel, location facilities etc before paying. What a fantastic place, amazing character ....... it's Wales oldest pub.... 500+ years but it has all of the modern amenities...... the bathroom in room 30 looks like it was installed yesterday...... very modern and in perfect working order. The room itself has real character, lots of space well laid out. The four poster bed is massive and so so comfortable, excellent quality bedding and pillow and for an old four poster bed very sturdy....... We had breakfast and dinner during our stay both were excellent. The Pub is in the center so easy access to everything. Parking is extra and limited and tight to access especially as you are requested to park facing forward, there are a number of car parks in the area and if arriving via motorbike I think if you ask you can park them in the rear area by the rooms. Overall I highly recommend this place and we will be returning."

"Convenient location, parking can be a challenge for big cars. Room 3, lovely clean bed, functional bathroom, water pressure for the shower's not brilliant but workable. Air con unit outside window (not for the bedroom!) Hotel by busy intersection of roads and crossings. Keep your door key in the lock. Code for entrance door and key drop on leaving. Good vfm for overnight stop."

"Very easy check-in and helpful staff from the moment we walked in. We were asked about dinner and made sure that we had everything we needed before we even went up to the room. The room itself was beautiful - comfortable beds, big bathroom and lots of space. There was a generator or heater somewhere nearby our room which was a little noisy and made getting to sleep a bit challenging but once asleep it was fine. Breakfast was incredible too, big portions and everything we could want. We would 100% visit again, and probably will!!"

"Lovely hotel. Car park was full so had to wait for a space. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of Hot & cold foods to choose from. Had Sunday roast beef dinner. Partner had sea bass. Plus a cheeky dessert. Good menu for food & drinks Really fab food. Staff where very smiley and friendly. The Grand stair case was amazing. Room was very clean Great views over the mountains and water. Bed was very comfortable. Over all great place to stay. Fab location. Definitely go back."
