"Great property for a get together with friends. There’s 3 on suite rooms and a double bedroom downstairs’ with a bathroom close by, there is also a twin room which is small but a nice room, ‘BUT’ you do have to go downstairs to use the loo, as the two bedrooms upstairs are on suite. "A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! "

"We had room 213. Lots of stairs to climb. Lovely big room on the top floor. It overlooked the front. We didnt find it noisy, even though we had the windows constantly open due to the hot weather. Luckily a fan was provided. Room had everything we needed. And a doggy goodie box was waiting for us. Our dog was very pleased. We found the staff very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely outside area to sit in. A short walk down the lane and you were on the Meni. Great location. We didn't have breakfast but nice menu for your evening meal and we ate well. Would definitely return."

"Great location…25 steps to Bangor train station. Friendly warm staff. Authentic Thai food available in their restaurant.Downstairs bar had small groups of friendly easygoing young crowd (not loud or unpleasant) Owner Ms. Su is actively committed to her business and is available to guests for compliments or complaints. Local busses leave within one to 4 blocks for various locations including Snowdonia."

"Wonderful location inside the old medieval wall! Steps from the Carnarvon Castle! Nice bar(s) and seating areas inside and out. On the other hand why would they put a senior on the third floor with no elevator?!! Shower drain was clogged but maintenance did fix that after I brought it to their attention. The biggest issue was the unseasonable heat. No A/C in these old hotels and the top floor was unbearable hot. All I had was a small 10 inch fan which was all but useless. Come on guys! Put some bigger fans on those top floor rooms! I’d stay there again, only on the condition of a ground floor room."

"Very nice hotel that I will return to on my next visit to Caernarfon. Lots of on site parking, and very friendly and helpful staff on reception. I arrived at the same time as a coach party, but the reception staff made sure I didn't have to wait. The room was very clean with lots of space and a good sized clean bathroom. It took a while to work out the light switches to turn on the bathroom light without all the other lights, but not a huge problem. Excellent hotel that I would recommend to friends and family."
