Ein Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen
Wir waren vom 14. - 28.7.2018 in diesem schönen Hotel auf Rhodos im herrlich gelegenen Monolithos. Unseren Aufenthalt haben wir sehr genossen. Es ist ruhig, touristisch nicht überlaufen und es herrscht im ganzen Ort eine spürbare Herzlichkeit. Diese ist auch dem Hotelbesitzer inne. Er kümmert sich sehr um die Belange seiner Gäste und versucht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.
Man genießt einen herrlichen Ausblick auf Hügel, Wälder, eine Mühle und eine Bucht. Morgens auf der Terasse oder vom Bett aus den Sonnenaufgang genießen, wo hat man das schon?
In ungefähr 10-15 Minuten Entfernung vom Hotel gibt es zwei herrliche Strände, den Alyki-Beach und den Fourni-Beach. Letzterer wurde unser Lieblingsstrand, da dieser über eine Kantina, Toilette und Dusche verfügt.
Wer während seines Aufenthaltes in Monolithos gut Essen gehen möchte, dem Empfehlen wir die Taverne "Christos Corner". Man muss zwar etwas Zeit mitbringen, doch die Wirtin ist sehr herzlich, das Essen ist gut und die Getränke preiswerter als bei den anderen Tavernen im Ort. (Bei denen man sich manchmal vorkommt, als wäre man störend, das Tablet oder Handy scheinen in dem Moment wichtiger zu sein, als Gäste).
Für kleinere Notfälle in der Versorgung gibt es einen Mini-Market im Ort. Auch mehrere Stände auf dem Weg zum Strand bieten lokale Produkte an.
Wir sagen Danke an das Thomas Hotel für den wirklich schönen Aufenthalt und die gute Zeit, die wir dort verbracht haben und wünschen alles Gute für die Zukunft.

Simple and practical hotel
Simple comfort.
State of rooms could be improved.
Very friendly welcome.
Sole hotel in Monolithos which a nice place. Sunset on castle and islands. Great coast. Very nice uncrowded beaches.

Superb location
Small basic but comfortable hotel in the delightful village of monolithos in the rural unspoilt southern area of rhodes
The views from our balcony were amazing the hills of the area and in the distance the sea
The sunsets 15 mins walk away from near the castle have to be seen
George the owner Wes delightful nothing was too much trouble for him and gave loads of useful local information including recommending the superb old monolithos tavern nearby
Breakfast was served personally and consisted of bread ham cheese preserves yoghurt and honey it was not
Varied each day so after 4 days became monotonous and we personally missed having fruit or cereals available but that is the only small negative point we would make
The rooms were spacious and clean and the area very quiet efficient air conditioning
Very much recommend the hotel and the area

Hôtel bien situé, à l'accueil charmant
Si la vue offerte est magnifique, cet hôtel reste un peu difficile d'accès.
Il est assez sonore et la literie mériterait vraiment d'être améliorée.
Le petit-déjeuner est généreux et l'hôte est tout à fait aimable et disponible.

Tolles Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Das Thomas Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung im schönen Monolithos. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal im Thomas Hotel. Das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind groß, hell und gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk und hatten eine wunderschöne Aussicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und wurden regelmäßig gereinigt. Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Wir würden wiederkommen und empfehlen es gerne weiter.
