Great location within walking distance of many city attractions, restaurants and shopping, as well as close access to city buses and the waterfront (which made for some excellent sunset viewing, and would probably be good for northern lights as well). The large studio was perfect for four adults. The unit was quiet, spotlessly clean, and all of the beds were comfortable. Plenty of electrical outlets conveniently located both bedside and along the counters. We also appreciated the dedicated parking in the back (for the 4-person units).

Nice studio apartment in the heart of Reykjavik. It's located on the busy street, so it could be noisy during evenings and especially during Friday and Saturday. Great location! Kitchen was well equipped with necessities for cooking and eating in. Couple of grocery stores near by and plenty of shops. Our apartment had a huge bay window: perfect for watching busy life of Reykjavik. Parking was a challenge as small studio apartment did not have assigned free parking. We managed, but it was an additional cost and hassle to find parking. We used paid covered parkade during the day and free street parking during the night. Host company was easy to reach when we had couple of questions and they are available 24x7. Nice place.

Good location, old but clean property. 2 things of note: 1. Parking is only available if you stay in one of the larger rooms (i.e., 4 people) 2.we got 2 bath towels and 1 face towel for both of us for 5 days. That's aggressive Otherwise, you get what you pay for.

Although we had no issue with the room itself, I would not recommend these accommodations because of the parking situation. We purchased a more expensive room that could sleep 4 specifically because it came with a reserved parking spot. We didn’t want to deal with lack of parking in the middle of Reykjavik. When we arrived a car was parked in our spot. We contacted management and they confirmed the spot was reserved (and ours) and suggested we should find the owner of the misparked vehicle and ask them to move - which was impossible without more information (it’s unclear if the owner of the car was even a guest or what their room number was). Different cars parked in our spot over the course of our two day stay and we were unable to park in it at all. We had to walk to a spot ~6-8 blocks away with heavy bags. Management repeatedly said the equivalent of “it was the perpetrator’s fault and it’s not our problem.” We asked them to discount our room because the did not render the service they promised. This was apparently “impossible” and they ended the conversation without a meaningful effort to remedy the situation or compensate us for the inconvenience. They promised a service as part of the price of a room, and then denied responsibility when they were unable to render that service. This is unacceptable under Icelandic law and poor customer service. If something goes wrong with your room, do not expect them to be diligent about finding a solution.

This was a small, simple apartment that has a basic kitchenette, which is essential for any Iceland vacation because of the cost of food there. The parking was a bit confusing, we thought we would have access to parking but we later learned that our unit didn't have an assigned spot after all. Accessing the unit was easy with the provided codes, no issues there. The unit had blackout curtains which really helps when days are long. The location was great. The unit was on the 4th floor, no elevator, so be prepared for stairs. This is out of the hosts' control, but the water in this building seemed to be more smelly than other places I have stayed in the country. The smell did not go away even after letting the cold water run for a while. I would recommend that you buy water before you arrive if you are sensitive to smells. I just have one suggestion for the hosts : please consider installing a shower door.

Nice apartment in Rejkjavik

The apartment was very nice and comfortable for our stay. The location is near several good restaurants and a grocery store. Downtown Reykjavik is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The stairs were a bit steep and the parking was very tight, but at least it has onsite parking - most other places I saw seemed to make you find parking on the street.

Excellent property in a prime area. Check in was smooth and communication with owners was easy. Only thing to be aware of is it is slightly tricky stairs to access, so have to be comfortable with stairs and carrying your luggage up them. Overall will stay again.

Awesome apartment. Can't bet the location. It's within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and rainbow rd. If you rent the larger apt, it comes with onsite parking which was super convenient. Only negative i can list is that there's no microwave. Highly recommended.
