The hotel was neat and clean, with lots of artistry and peaceful places to relax on the lower level. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The continental breakfast was good each morning. It wasn't the most picturesque location but it was convenient to the city and the outskirts of Reykjavik.

Staff Julia supplied a special ice bucket for us for our champagne and when we requested recommended an amazing restaurant where the food was absolutely fantastic. We didn’t have converters for Canadian Appliances and we were loaned proper adapter. Her Customer Service skills were above and beyond and we would be happy to recommend Hotel lotus to everyone. Breakfast at the hotel was quite enjoyable also

This was a perfect hotel after a long week of traveling! Beautiful rooms, heated floors in the restrooms, and a delicious breakfast. I wish we could have stayed for longer!

It provided onsite free parking, which other hotels may not provide. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff was friendly. The room is small, but comfortable. My booking through Expedia.com a few months ago. But the booking was not showed in the hotel system. But staff was very claim and resolved this quickly. good job!

Wonderful host Maria. Clean property well located for our excursions. Only con (and not a true negative) it’s not walkable to points of interest. But not enough for us to say negative experiments. Spacious clean room. Hospitable host and safe.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at in Iceland. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was superb, and the person managing it was absolutely lovely. She helped us with everything we asked for and gave us great tips about Iceland. On top of that, we met Julia on our first day, and she left no stone unturned in making our stay wonderful. The level of hospitality we received truly made our trip even more memorable. The next time we visit Iceland, this will be the hotel where we stay 100%.

Perfect stay. The hotel location is great for traveling to/from Reykjavik. Free parking. The staff is very helpful and nice talking to. Room is very big, nice decorated. Breakfast was just perfect. So nicely presented, tasty and fresh. The perfect stay in Reykjavik. I definitely recommend to choose this hotel and will be back .

Everything was perfect! Staff (Maria) made the stay like we were locals, helped us find the touristy and the less touristy places. This was our second time staying here and will definitely stay here again on our next trip. Breakfast was great, parking was not a problem at all and cleanliness is 101%.

Staying at Hotel Lotus was a wonderful experience. We were there for a 7 day stay and everything was great. They did offer daily housekeeping but, we declined. The breakfast was probably my favorite part. The very kind lady who ran the breakfast area was so helpful and accommodating. She explained everything that was there for us to eat and would check on everyone to make sure we were doing well. The breakfast itself was very good. Lots of things to choose from from meats, cheese, yogurt, a variety of different beards and fruits. My favorite was the espresso machine. It offered anything from a regular cup of coffee to cappuccino and lattes. I also enjoyed their tea options as well. The rooms themselves were very nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom amenities included shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Which all smelled very nice. We would definitely come back and stay and highly recommend Hotel Lotus to others.

Great location with ample parking in front of the building. It was easily accessible for traveling to other areas around and outside of Reykjavík. The property was very clean, and the rooms were very spacious. It is a quick walk to downtown, or a quick drive if you prefer. Breakfast was included, and the staff were all very helpful as well. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lotus. After arriving on an early morning red-eye flight, the hotel allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. To our surprise, we were also upgraded to a suite, making our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was simple but delicious, with the best pastries for our trip. There were complimentary snacks and coffee available for guests, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was in a quieter area away from the crowded city center. Free parking was also a great bonus. It was a great starting point for our road trip.

A very charming, smaller property that makes you feel special. Very clean rooms. Close to a huge mall, spas and restaurants. Also, near a bus stop for more travel flexibility to and from downtown Reykjavik.
