「夫婦でやってるゲストハウスです。キッチンを使いたいと言ったら奥さんの方が「キッチンは使えない。ウェブサイトに書いてあるからちゃんと読んでから来なさい」と高圧的に言われて印象が悪かったです。部屋にはハエがいました。他の方の評価は高いので自分は運が悪かったのかもしれないけど二度と泊まりたくないです。それ以外は値段相応のゲストハウスだと思います。」

"とても快適に過ごすことができました。お部屋はとてもおしゃれで洗練されていました。バスルームもとても広かったです。目の前の間欠泉もとても近く、早朝静かさの中でゆっくりと楽しめました。隣のショップでの買い物やガソリンスタンドもありとても便利です。各観光地からも近くおすすめです!"

"カントリー調の建物を少しモダンにアレンジしたホテルです。建物が少し古いのか壁やドアが薄く、他のお客さんの声が結構響きます。（ここに限らず、アイスランドの宿泊施設はこういうところが多いです）設備が少し古いのかシャワーの温度があまり上がらないうえ安定せず苦戦しました。建物の外に3人ほどが入れるホットタブがありました。アイスランドのホテルやゲストハウスは大体そうですが、このホテルの周辺にお店やレストランはありません。そのため夕食はこのホテルに併設されているレストランを予約することをお勧めします。メニューはビュッフェのみで、アイスランドの農家風の家庭的な料理が並んでいました。レストランでは味わえない素朴さがとてもよく、美味しかったです。ホテルには犬と猫がいて、とても可愛かったです。唯一残念だったのが、レストランにいたスタッフの対応です。宿泊日、スタッフの一人がトライアングルを鳴らして呼びに来ました。夕食開始の合図です。私はレストランに入りました。並んだメニューを眺めていると、レストランのキッチンにいた高齢のスタッフが私たちをドアの窓から睨んでいました。その後白人系のお客が入ってくると、その高齢の女性スタッフは夕食メニューの説明をしにやってきました。さっき睨んでいたのが嘘みたいな笑顔でした。そのスタッフはもしかしたら、人種に好みのある方なのかもしれません。家庭的な料理とアットホームな雰囲気のレストランというのもあって、あまりのギャップに背筋が凍りました。設備は工夫しだいでどうにかなる場合もありますが、こういう経験は逃れようがないですし、嫌でも心に残ります。それだけがとても残念で、衝撃的なホテルの思い出になりました。ちなみに1週間のアイスランド旅行でホテルやレストランにたくさん行きましたが、このような経験をしたのは、このホテルだけでした。他の人が同じ経験をしないことを、心から祈っています。"
