We had a really enjoyable stay at ODDSSON Downtown Hotel. The location is excellent — very central and convenient for exploring Reykjavík, with many attractions, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.
Check-in and check-out were both smooth and hassle-free. We could always find car-park spaces available.
Our room was comfortable and nicely designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was for travellers who want to cook.
Overall, a great choice for staying in Reykjavík. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

I have stayed at Hotel Eyja several times and will continue to book it for future trips to Reykjavik. It is clean, quiet, and serene. Rooms are beautifully decorated, and beds are comfortable. Service is top notch. Close enough to city center to walk to all of the main attractions while just distant enough to separate you from the street noise, which can really kick up as the club scene livens in the wee hours. Heads up that while the daily breakfast buffet is excellent, there is no proper restaurant onsite for lunches/dinners. A big plus is that the hotel is directly behind a Bonus supermarket. Perfect if you're heading out for a road trip or want grab-and-go.
