「Polite staff that gave us tons of local recommendations!」

「This is a really great hotel if you are staying in Monterey. The rooms are spacious so you can actually but a kid or two in the room with you without feeling you are on top of each other. And you can walk to the aquarium and all the kid-friendly activities.」

「I have chosen to stay at the Portola Hotel for five consecutive years, and it is always exceptionally pleasant. The location is absolutely perfect. The neighborhood is safe and scenic, making my morning and evening strolls highly enjoyable. A special highlight this year was spotting wild sea otters near the hotel for the first time. It has truly become my go-to hotel in Monterey, and I already look forward to returning.」

「Although this is an older hotel, management has done a great job of keeping it clean, well-maintained, and looking updated. The hotel is located in a safe area, within walking distance of just about everything you might need. I absolutely loved the location! The hotel does have an elevator, but there are still some stairs you may need to use to access certain rooms. If you have mobility concerns, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to confirm whether a room is available that does not...
