Effie’s AMAZING Cozy Beachfront Apartment
Effie is easily the most gracious host we have ever had the pleasure to work with. The apartment has amazing views of the beach and sea. So relaxing to sit on the balcony in early morning watching the street below come to life. Also in the evening to see the sunset cast beautiful light on the water and mountains in the distance. The beach is perfect in that it stays shallow for a great distance. My only recommendation here is that water shoes are helpful for the few meters where the entry to the water is a bit rough on tender feet. Once in, a nice sandy clear bottom awaits. It is very easy to rent beach lounge chairs, and for two chair and a small table is was just 5 Euro from Le Dome restaurant, just a 1/2 block or so away. There are many other options too.
Back to Effie - she was amazing to work with. She literally responded in minutes almost every time we had a question. The apartment had everything we needed to cook. Wonderful showers. Apartment was very well furnished. Bathrooms were amazing, including the showers. Next door a little grocery store that was well supplied. A little further a nice little bakery.
We don’t want to list all the special gifts (food and beverages) that Effie gave to us. That is because we don’t want to set up an expectation for visitors that what Effie did for us she will do for everyone. But know that if your experience with Effie is anywhere close to what our experience was, you will be very pleased.
