"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The customer service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we needed anything. The hotel offers excellent amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, comfort, service, and overall atmosphere. Overall, an excellent experience from beginning to end. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended!"

"This was a very well situated and well supplied cottage on the St. Lawrence river! Arriving in the evening, the garden welcomed us with pretty lighting and a vista of the river that wowed the kids. The pool table in the game room was in a bit of a rough state but everything else entertained us well when it was raining, and when the weather was nice we did kayaking and even caught a couple fish right on the dock! Our host was not wrong that they'd be biting. We didn't need to contact the host for much, but she was easy to reach and responded quickly.Three generations of our family stayed with us and we would all like to come again."

"It's a typical motel. The pictures are not very accurate. The property is not on the water, and has no access to the river. It was very clean, minus a bit of mould in the shower. Bedding was fine, and the bed was comfortable. Shower was broken when we arrived, but the guy fixed it to the best of his ability. He offered us a different room but the smell of mothballs was so strong that we decided to kept our original. Neighbours were loud, but responded to my request to be quiet. My only real complaint was the porch light pouring into the room due to the old and paper-thin yellowish blinds and lack of curtains. Unfortunately, I was inches from the window and barely slept. We paid $170 CAD, with taxes and fees. I don't suggest paying over $125."

He offered thoughtful recommendations and had a great collection of books and records that gave the place a unique character. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh, high-quality food. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it."

"Host was friendly & informative. Property is neat but could use some current maintenance. A little dusty with spiderwebs & outside chair was in disrepair. Setting on the lake was pretty. Amenities list could be more detailed. Too weedy for swimming& dock area a little rough.Town is tiny but pleasant with 2 good eateries for takeout & walkable."

"This resort exceeded our expectations. The property was constantly being groomed while we were there. Gorgeous gardens and lawns. The food was so good. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Beds were so comfy and fresh and the room was stocked with all sorts of towels and personal care products. There are pickleball courts with rackets supplied. And they have an 18 hole Championship Golf Course there as well. The hotel is right on the St.Lawrence River and it’s fun watching the boats go by. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, games room and fitness room too. It’s an older resort with older furniture and decor but it is so well maintained and had so much charm. We will definitely return again."
