"Stayed here overnight because it was close to the lake start of our triathlon. It’s not pretty from the outside, looks like an old motel, but the unit was clean, the a/c and tv worked, and it was great to have kitchen facilities to make oatmeal and prep race nutrition (bring your own bowls, utensils, etc, per their online guidance). No staff on site, but instructions for accessing the unit were clearly communicated via a texted video."

"This is a newer house with all the amenities. The kitchen is large (even has soft-close cabinets) & comes with all dishes, pots & pans, and cutlery. For being out in the country, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the inside was...no cobb webs, spider webs, dust bunnies, or even insects. We really enjoyed the covered patio and the firepit just a few steps away. A few things that were strange to me: All (5) bedrooms are upstairs, so if steps aren't your thing, this is not the house for you. There are (8) locked doors downstairs (you can see in the pics), presumably the owner's bedrooms/bathrooms, but there's a huge wasted space there. There are NO coat racks, hooks, hangers, or closets in the entire house, so no where to hang a jacket, hoodie, or coat. We laid them on the furniture. The only clothes racks are in the bedrooms & about 24" wide (again, no hangers). The (1) bathroom upstairs had (3) towel racks so not enough to dry towels if you have a full house. There is a full bathroom downstairs, so you can use this as a 2nd bath. And the bedrooms have this weird slanted ceiling in EVERY room. The kitchen has a large stand-up cooler, but it was out of order. If you had a full house, you would absolutely need this cooler. All in all, this was still a good place for us."

"The cabin was honestly more than I expected. Very clean and well put together. You can tell the host of the cabin takes genuine care of the property. It’s tucked away into a beautiful area with plenty of activities being located next to so many state parks and creeks. Our host was very easy to contact and pleasant to chat with. We had some great wildlife site seeing while here! Plenty of deer and rabbit but we also got the privilege of seeing a momma beer and her three cubs. I would certainly consider coming back her in the future to this very beautiful area."

"Property was as stated. Jason was very quick in responding to questions. Loved sitting on the deck watching the hummingbirds. Was able to ride the trail right from the house and walked next door to the restaurant and the general store. Beds were comfortable. Would stay there again. Great location."
