「The air conditioning was noisy.」

「very good」

「I stayed for four nights. The female receptionist was very helpful, and the room was comfortable. The bus stop was right in front of the building, which made getting around easy.」

「I stayed the first night. The next day I discovered the room had a wall lamp held on with scotch tape and was falling out with exposed wires. I was moved to another room for the remainder of my stay and asked for a refund of the first night as I felt I was put in a fire hazard. I spoke with three clerks but no manager ever addressed this with me. I booked via Expedia who I notified. Krista then contacted the hotel manager who refused my request because I continued my stay.」

「Friendly People!」

「The room had a large refrigerator and a full kitchen, making it suitable for a long stay. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Amenities included only shampoo and body soap, so you need to bring anything else you may need.」

「Cheaper hotel in Oakland. Old one, but not bad. Noisy because railway just in front of hotel.」

「A staff is so rude. I think he is owner’s son. He yelled at me in a non-English language when I checked-in. I was just confused. Owner is not polite, but I guess it is acceptable. Deposit is 100 dollars. Cash only. Thank God I had 100 dollars. No receipt for the deposit. I was worried, but it was returned. The hostel is close to the highway. If you are too tired, you can have rest. I was super tired, so it was fine.」
