「Les Valades is perfect for a holiday in this beautiful area of France. It is clean, quiet and has everything you need. The owners helped with bike hire before we arrived and easy to contact throughout if we needed them. The house is in a quiet area, overlooking fields where you spot deer, wild boar and birds of prey but is only a short drive to Issigeac (which is just wonderful) or Bergerac. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Les Valades.」

「Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Le moulin est très sympa. Et est bien équipé. Sylph est adorable. Un tout petit bémol pour le frigo. Trop petit pour notre séjour de 3 semaines et le besoin en boisson fraîche du fait de la grande chaleur.」

「After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. 」

「This is a fabulous property so close to Bergerac. Serge & Beatrice are extremely welcoming hosts, who have put a huge amount of work into the pool and garden as well as providing outdoor games and bicycles. We spent most of our time at La Salagre out by the pool. Heated to approx 24 *, with beautiful planting, lots of sunbeds, both it and the immaculate garden are outstanding.
