The Neighborhood:
Red Lodge, nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, is a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for family fun, a place to touch the wild, or just a chance to let your hair down. Whether you are wearing Birkenstocks or cowboy boots, you will find something to do here. (Although downtown is paved and we even have sidewalks, Jimmy Choos are probably not a great idea!)
In winter the road ends here. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding and sleigh riding are just the short list of activities that you can do when visiting us.
In summer we revel in the Beartooth Pass opening. We are only 68 miles from Yellowstone Park, but plan on a good two hours` drive as the “Pass” is stunning in high mountain vistas, rocky cliffs, and jeweled lakes. The Custer National Forest is a haven for wildlife including elk, moose, mountain goats, big horn sheep, bears (black and grizzly), mountain lions and wolves. Golden marmots are often seen dashing across the trails. Golden and bald eagles often visit our area, as well as sandhill cranes and blue herons.

Red Lodge, Montana is a rural community that does offer internet and cell service throughout most geographic areas but, some locations are completely void of any internet or cell service. In town and within a 3-5 mile radius of downtown you will enjoy solid cell signal but during times when our population increases due to events, celebration (such as the Fourth of July), or emergency situations such as a wildfire you will notice that these online and cellular services slow down and sometimes, they can slow down to the point where you have to wait to place a call. We can’t do anything to help in these situations, so we encourage people to enjoy the freedom of being “unplugged” and to be patient.

The house was amazing with lots of room to spread out, great views of the mountains, a hot tub ready for us when we got there, a pool table and comfortable beds to sleep in. We will be using AAA Red Lodge Rentals again in the future.
This house was absolutely wonderful!! The house is surrounded by breath taking views!! Great outdoor space to enjoy and take it all in. Home was clean and comfortable with everything you could need and some added specual treats. The rental agency does an excellent jobccommumicating!Highly recommend! And the town of Red Lodge is really special! Great shops, restaurants, and friendly people.
Group of 12 visiting, had the most amazing time. Great location, stunning views. Host was so helpful and we had everything we needed and more. 10/10 recommend, hope to be back!
Our family totally enjoyed this beautiful cabin . Comfortable, peaceful and fully furnished. The views and occasional wildlife were greatly enjoyed. Not too far from town and many hiking trails. We highly recommend this place.
Beautiful home, peaceful setting, visits from deer....The sauna, the hot tub, the pool table, and games all kept us entertained. We stayed 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer.
We had a great time in Red Lodge and the house was pefect for our family Christmas vacation. It accommodated all 12 of us with plenty of room. Close to both the ski area and downtown.
Will be visiting again soon.
This is our second time staying at this property. It fits our family perfectly. There is plenty of room for all 9 of us. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, sauna, and fireplaces. Plenty of cooking tools including a barbeque and blackstone grill. We hope to stay again in the future!!
Great place with great amenities but some needs attention like the hot tub and sauna. They work but not great- hot tub not all jets work and not the cleanest, sauna comes on but room not sealed very well. The only real complaint that we have is the flys. I know there’s not much anyone can do about it but the flys are horrible.
Great property, views were terrific. Close to town yet far enough way. Great house, a little tricky to get pickups with trailers in. No room to turn around at the house. No trailers, no problems.
Perfect location. Very beautiful home. The only negative I can think of is that it was a bit small; very tight kitchen, bedrooms were not big enough for dressers. But the kitchen was well stocked and there were two grills. The bedrooms had closets with lots of hangers. I really appreciated the design of the home, there was no wasted space. Looking forward to going back.
Great located property, convenient to town, very quiet with lots of privacy. Nicely set up home, just as stated. Great hot tub along with front and back decks. Definitely would stay there again.
Seven of us came from the east coast, west coast and billings. We head plenty if room to spread out and relax or gather to be together. The location was easy to find and great views. A few hiccups were quickly resolved by our host.
The location of the house is absolutely beautiful, with mountain views all around. A short drive to Red Lodge Mountain and close enough to town that it wasnt ever a problem to run in for anything. Very clean amd well stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed to make big family meals. We really enjoyed the fireplaces both upstairs and down. Spent most nights playing pool in the family room. Hot tub was wonderful after a day skiing. We Will definitely be returning again!! The girls at the AAA office We always fast to respond to any questions and always so sweet
We really enjoyed our stay. My sister family and my family spent 3 nights here for our family Christmas celebration. We had plenty of space for the 9 of us. The home was supplied very well for cooking, showering, hot tub and fireplace. The location was really nice to be outside of town and away but yet close enough to run in if we needed anything. We have discussed that we hope to be able to come back again. Very nice home and very well maintained!
Wonderful home with the ample space to spread out. Location was perfect to be able to experience all Red Lodge has to offer, weather it’s hiking, skiing, or enjoying downtown Red Lodge you’ll be minutes away from it all!

Our stay in the property was very nice.
Our stay in the property was very nice. Perfect ski vacation rental for a large family. Large bedrooms and large gathering areas that facilitate the family gathering together. As close to Red Lodge Mountain as you can get. Two large fire places give a nice mountain cabin feel. Large gas grill worked great for large group meal preparation. Everyone I talked to was very courteous and helpful.
Loved the property beautiful and worked well for our whole family! They were very helpful when we had the water in the kitchen!

This was a great quiet location for our family to meet up from different locations.
This was a great quiet location for our family to meet up from different locations. There was plenty of parking space for our vehicles and rooms for all. Plenty of space to spread out and good internet for those who wanted it. The place was very clean and with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. We were out of propane and it was almost 5 pm but when we contacted your office we were told a replacement tank would be brought right up — and it was!
This is a great home to stay in. Quite peaceful surroundings. It was a 2 hour drive to Yellowstone but very scenic with lots of wildlife. Everything was clean and neat. I would have given it straight excellent rating except the internet connection did not work and cell service was there but was spotty with teenage granddaughters this was a letdown for them but I believe they can get it fixed maybe just a new router. All in all it was a great stay.
