Found bed bugs in my room at midnight. The staff transferred me to a different room for the night, but when I asked for a refund the next day the ladies at the front desk declined. I asked “so you don’t offer a refund when clients find bed bugs in their room?”. Their response was that all hotels get bed bugs and they can’t control where they come from. Well, personally I feel that’s the hotel’s problem, not the client’s. Additionally, the room was set to 30 degrees Celsius when I arrived, I skipped the hotel breakfast each morning because it looked awful, and the beds were genuinely so hard. Either lower your standards or find somewhere better to stay.
