"Fan was very loud in the bathroom! We had window and door issues in other rooms. Our 4th stay. It appears all rooms have some kind of issues. No heat at night. Very cold. Better during the day. Neighbor parked over two spaces including ours and the a huge 4x4. No management to check and tell them to park correctly… clean overall. Ok for one night but keep low expectations in light with low prices."

"The linen and mattress had yellow stains on them, every single toilet paper in the property was hard as a rock and covered in mold, there was no hair dryer even though the listing says there is one in each bathroom. No shelving in the shower so everything had to be put on the floor. Hot water ran out quickly. The bed sunk into the middle so my partner and I were squished into the middle of the bed and couldn't move. The wall mounted fireplace didn't work. The "reserved" parking spot for the...

Eastwind Hotel Lake Placid

10/10 Excellent

"Awesome place. Highly recommended"

Laurel Lake Placid

8/10 Good

"It’s a nice hotel, rooms were small. They were amazing to our dog. The couple things they could change is shower curtain length (water gets everywhere). Parking fills up so it can be hard to find a spot. We were on the lower level & it was loud & we did not sleep very well. But not really the hotel fault. Pillows and blankets were amazing & the temp was comfortable in the room. Very close to all the shops. And we enjoyed the products in the rooms"

"This is a motel, two story, outdoor hallway to your room, not a hotel. That is not a complaint, just a fact. It was contactless check in, which was difficult because we booked through hotels.com, (the staff happened upon us and had to help - they were very nice). The room was very clean. It was nice to have Keurig coffee in the room. When we arrived the stairway smelled so strongly of bleach that it hurt to breathe it, the next morning, that same stairway smelled strongly of sewage. Not sure why but we reported the issue. Grab and go breakfast was available, which we appreciated. The room was also nice and quiet."

"For such a new hotel, the mattresses are too soft and need to be replaced. if you're on the third floor you may have to let the faucet run for awhile before you'll have hot water. This hotel is in a wonderful location and except for the mattresses, is well maintained. The view from the window was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive."
