"Our stay was enjoyable, however we did the glamping stay was different than expected. The second”bedroom” was up in a loft and going to the bathroom in the middle of the night was challenging to say the least. Just be prepared and careful when booking the tents, especially because of the climb up and down ladder. Also we did not have a “free breakfast “ Other than that it’s what you would expect for a kids resort, lots of families ,but quite considering."

"Our room was clean and spacious. Fun beach themed decor. Loved our balcony overlooking the street and a view of the ocean. Enjoyed wine and snacks on the balcony in the evening. Great buffet breakfast included. 1 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach!! "

"I stayed off season (October) and it was a perfect stay. Quiet, clean, comfortable- slept like an angel. Joao was so warm and welcoming and helpful. There's a jacuzzi on the roof that you can book for use. I booked during sunset- what a view! Perfect way to wind down before dinner. Any reviews that complain about having to move to the other building after checking-in at the main reception are absurd- the building is literally a few steps away. Overall, would definitely stay again during low season!! High season- might be noisy depending on the room. "

"Exceptional hotel!"

"This property is peerless. We didn’t golf but the pool and spa were just flat amazing. I have never seen such a variety of cutting edge technology in a pool area. Indoor pool is warm with two hot tubs with a huge variety of jet options. There is a bucket deluge, special showers with light shows and jets, steam, sauna and beautiful finishes and furnishings. The staff is attentive and accommodating from the valet to the wait and housekeeping staff. The management is in contact to make sure you are happy and the grounds are stunning. The beach access on property was closed due to erosion but a short drive had parking and a secluded, cliffside beach that was amazing. We drive into Nazare and the nearby town for incredible meals but I’m sure the onsite restaurants are also great. The breakfast buffet was first class with everything you would want plus sparkling wine! I have been to top properties around the world but this place is special. We will be back!"
