「We loved this house not far from Mt. Rainier. It was quiet and very beautiful. Getting in the hot tub after hiking was amazing. The town of Elbe is only a few minutes away and had a couple of stores to pick up some basics. Make sure you check out the Mt. Rainier webcams before you go to the park. We woke up to a very cloudy day at the house and were going to cancel the Skyline Loop trail but saw on the webcam that the clouds were breaking up there so we went ahead and did the hike. 「This was probably one of the best VRBO’s that I’ve ever stayed at in this price range. It’s obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought, effort, and care into hosting. We stayed for a family trip to Mt Rainier NP. The park was an easy drive from the property and it was within walking distance of the main road so you can walk to the restaurants. Each room had plenty of USB ports, plenty of towels in the bathroom, and even a complimentary s’mores kit. Highly recommend!!」

「Look for a rust red color house, not blue. That confused us as to whether or not we were at the right place. The keypad is on the deck door. The outdoor furniture needs some updating - table, chairs, and hottub needs some minor fixes like the cover has tears and the headrest on one spot is missing the other falls off. Nothing that would hinder you from using it. There are a lot of little bugs in the house, but you are in the woods. The main floor shower is small for average size people, so...

「This is small, but very cozy and comfortable. Could be a little crowded for more than 2 people. We had a short stay, and it was comfortable for that time frame for sure. The only negative is that the owner was not responsive in the days leading up to our arrival. When we got there we didn't have the information to get inside our rental. We had to call Vrbo to get a code to access the property. Also, parking is a little tight, but not terrible.」
