Ragusa has the elegance that characterizes the late Baroque towns of the Val di Noto. The town attracts visitors with its labyrinth of narrow alleyways, in which there are many churches and palaces to visit. One of the fascinating sights of Modica is the Cava d'Ispica, a long gorge full of caves and archaeological sites. The baroque towns of Ispica, Scicli and Comiso are also worth a visit. Gourmets can head to Vittoria, famous for the cultivation of two types of grape, Nero d'Avola and Frappato.
