"Prices were very low and safe. There is a fast food restaurant nearby, which is convenient. Note that there was shampoo and soap, but no amenities such as hairdryers or toothbrushes. No air-conditioning, which can be a bit painful in hot weather. Heat can easily build up. Also, note that this is an accommodation for international students who stay here for more than a few months, and it is rare to find a guest like me on Expedia who only stays for 3-4 days and uses it like a hotel. Village Hotel Nottingham

8/10 Good

"Paying for parking is new and not welcome, and our room was at the front of the hotel and there was more noise than when we have stayed before at the rear of the hotel."

Lace Market Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Easy and friendly check-in. Short walk from the train station. Booked the Ground Floor Superior Room which was felt very deluxe and was spotlessly clean. 5 min walk from Motorpoint Arena would definitely stay again when in the area. My only suggestion is that if you are a light sleeper not to get a ground floor room as was a tad noisy outside and in the corridor."
