Truly a beautiful accommodation. We absolutely loved the location and neighborhood. If you're looking for a quiet area near Queenstown, this is the place. Most notably, Jean-Pierre is an amazing host. He looked after us to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Thanks to him, our stay in Queenstown has become just unforgettable.

The host was amazing, extremely helpful, picked us up from the airport and dropped us off. The breakfast was beautiful and very health, made for a time agreed by us. I would highly recommend this property.

Our stay at Lanah was excellent. The room was spacious and beautiful with floor to ceiling windows and an amazing tiled shower. Toni’s made to order breakfast each morning was a highlight. Such high quality cooking and attentive hospitality.

What an amazing place! Perfect in every way. Convenient to town and the water taxi, but just far enough away from the bustle of town. And the breakfasts! We loved every minute.

We loved our time at Lanah Residences. Jean-Pierre was a wonderful host; greeting us at the airport and leaning on his years as a top executive at the Four Seasons to provide a truly 5-star personalized stay. Every detail at the hotel is well thought out, beautifully decorated, and customized. A highlight was breakfast, where Toni, a globally recognized culinary force, not only makes an incredible meal for you each morning, but also engages in delightful conversation. We wish we could have stayed longer both to enjoy more of what Queenstown has to offer and to spend more time at Lanah itself.

All we can say to Jean Pierre, Yvonne and Toni is thank you! We felt like special family visitors. You clearly live the hospitality ethic by exceeding expectations. Our enjoyment of the stunning design of Lanah House will be a lifetime memory.

Views, 8 km to Queenstown, water taxis available

Highly recommend. Owner’s penthouse suite has view of the lake and Remarkable Mountains. Very clean and well maintained- recently built. Top unit of 3 unit boutique hotel has private jacuzzi with views. Chef made breakfast included. Owner/host couldn’t be more accommodating and helpful.

This is a great location in Frankton, quiet, not far from a very busy Queenstown and the views are spectacular from the room. Walking/bike track is excellent. Jean-Pierre the consummate host, nothing too difficult, very generous with his time and advice of what to do, just one of of our best accommodation experiences ever. Definitely 5 start quality and service, if we could describe in one word it would be, 'wow'!

Lanah Residence is not simply a place to stay—it is a place that gently redefines what true hospitality feels like. From the moment of arrival, there is an immediate sense of calm, belonging, and quiet excellence that is felt rather than announced. The residence itself is exceptional: architecturally striking yet deeply warm. Thoughtfully curated interiors reveal a refined understanding of luxury—confident, precise, and restrained—where every detail feels intentional rather than performative. We stayed for over a week, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Impeccably maintained and surrounded by nature, the property offers rare tranquility while remaining effortlessly comfortable. Even with my wife specific allergies, we felt completely safe throughout our stay, a subtle but meaningful reflection of the care taken. The hospitality is outstanding in the most meaningful way. Everything provided is fresh, beautifully presented, and of the highest quality, creating the feeling of living, quite effortlessly, within a private residence of quiet elegance. Lanah Residence is not merely a luxury stay; it is a thoughtfully crafted experience that lingers long after departure. 🌸🌸🌸🌸

Amazing stay in Queenstown - highly recommend!!!

Our trip to Queenstown was incredible and we were so happy to be staying a little outside of town at Lanah Residence. It was the perfect location for us because it was quiet, gorgeous, had access to incredible walking trails, restaurants a few minutes away, and outside of the touristy areas of Queenstown. Jean-Pierre was the ultimate host who greeted us upon arrival, helped us get to where we needed, gave us tips for what to do in Queenstown and surroundings, and made sure our room was perfect. The amenities go beyond, starting with an amazing breakfast by Toni, the in house chef. Jean-Pierre, a former VP at the Four Seasons, furnished the beautiful room with coffee, drinks in the fridge, fresh fruit everyday, cleaning service each day, and all the comforts and details you can imagine. The room is very private with an amazing view of the lake and mountains. It is easy to get into downtown by car or water taxi as well as be picked up next door at the Hilton for any planned adventure trips. There is a well equipped gym and a beautiful outdoor seating area. We will definitely return to Queenstown and to the Lanah residence.
