Our stay at the Commonage Villas was really wonderful. The property was beautiful and the view was great. The communication was pretty good. The rooms were clean and tidy, and there were necessary materials. It was only a 15 minute walk to the main center of the town but quite a steep hill back up to town so it might be easier to drive up or get a ride up. If I were back in Queenstown, I would definitely come back and stay at Commonage.

Such a beautiful property with gorgeous views and perfect location walking distance from town. The property had every amenity - heated floors, towel racks, gorgeous kitchen, and so spacious. The walk is definitely intense being a very steep hill but if you are active it is actually enjoyable!

We absolutely loved the layout and location of the house .It was peaceful and quiet. The house is beautifully maintained with a well organized kitchen. my family felt at home, it truly made our vacation even better. it was hard leaving. The view was breathtaking. This was an unbelievably good place to stay - great location, ultra high standard accommodation, easy access to off-site reception, amazing views, a fantastic gas fire to sit next to, fast wifi. It was really difficult to leave.

What a view!

Stayed in a huge two-bedroom unit with fabulous views of one of the most beautiful spots on earth. Hi-tech elevator, free taxi vouchers into town, and outdoor patio dining with lakeside views made this property unique. Like many rental properties, there were a few items that needed fixing (TV trouble, outdoor fireplace didn't work), but management was responsive and helpful. The place was pricey, but then it was one of the nicest units I've ever rented over many years of travel.

Lovely Home but Disappointing Service

Great house, location, view etc. All unbeatable. But one night the TV didn't work. There were three of us tech savvy adults but we couldn't manage to get it going, it was a hi fi system. The firm responsible for the accommodation said 'Well you must have pressed some buttons' ... Yes we did, to try and get it working again. They said they would call us back. We had called them during their hours of service i.e./before 8pm cut off. We never heard back from them. For over $1000 a night, that was not good service at all. When I saw the cleaning lady I asked if we could have some more towels as the guests are asked not to wash them. She asked me when was I leaving?' I replied 'in two days'.. to which she replied 'oh then it can wait'... Unbelievable! Very disappointing. We never asked them for anything else in one week. I paid over $1000 a night for six nights.

Highly recommended for families!

Great experience at the Commonage Villas. We stayed at the Grand Promenade Villa and it was wonderful. Interior and everything was very new and well maintained. Just make sure you bring your own slippers!
