Lovely Stay

Really well located. In the heart of a lively area with a great choice of restaurants and cafes. The flat is tranquil but there was a bit of noise on the weekend but it didn't ruin our enjoyment. We walked to Old Quebec each day, its not far.There was a small issue with the shower and our host responded in a mere 5 mins and had people round to remedy it in about 30 mins! Fantastic response.It was a lovely well decorated, modern and clean interior. We had a lovely stay.

Stay at the quebec

The property is in a great location—convenient and close to everything we needed. However, it does get quite loud at night due to nearby music and street noise, which made it difficult to sleep at times. This place might be ideal for guests who plan to stay out late or aren’t sensitive to noise, but light sleepers may want to bring earplugs or consider this before booking.

Le seul bemol etait l'eclairage manquant a la porte d'entree au niveau de la rue. Autrement tres propre, tres bien equipe, tres bien situe. Merci

The bar is loud

We were unaware we would be staying over a bar (also owned by the property owner, I believe). We arrived on a Saturday night and heard the bass thumping and laughter until 3 am. The other nights were better, but still noisier than we had expected. There is a beautiful church 1/2 block from the apartment which is a local hangout for many homeless/drug users. Beautiful, clean, and modernized apartment. Beds were extremely firm.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was modern and super clean. The location was great and a walkable distance to old Quebec City or an Uber ride for a reasonable rate. As mentioned in other reviews, there was noise from the restaurants underneath and near by until 2-3am, but nothing a sound machine / sleep app or the bathroom fan couldn’t drown out. If you’re a light sleeper, you’d probably want to stay clear. The area does have homeless folks hanging around the beautiful church across the street, but they were very respectful and the area is very clean. If you have any leftover food and water that you cannot take with you, be kind and pass it along. The host, Marc-Antoine was fabulous. He was super responsive and accommodating. We’d happily stay again if we were back in town.

The apartment is a basic apartment. There are no extras. No blankets, no extra pillows, no extra towels. The kitchen has salt, pepper, sugar. The beds are HARD. The guidebook suggests it has coffee and filters, but it was out. The living room doesn’t have blinds and there is a large unhoused population on the church premises across the street. They are very kind people and are not disturbing. However, everyone can see in the apartment when the lights are on. The mini-split AC did not work to keep the apartment cool. The apartment is above a bar and the smoke smell can be a little off putting.
