This newly built mini-chalet is located along the Jacques-Cartier River. With a capacity of up to 6 guests, you will enjoy a comfortable stay. Just 30 minutes from the city and only a few minutes from many resort attractions, you can easily explore the city and enjoy the outdoors all in the same day! Whether you visit Village Vacances Valcartier, go rafting, or take a stroll through Old Quebec, your days will be filled with memorable experiences!
The Space:
This mini-chalet has everything you need for a comfortable stay while being surrounded by nature.
**NEW: A BBQ station has been set up for you!** **Available only from May 1 to October 31.**
The mini-chalet can accommodate up to 6 guests and features 2 queen-size beds and 2 single beds. Bed linens are provided.
To prepare a small meal, you can use a hot plate and a microwave. Cooking equipment (utensils, plates, pots, etc.) and drinking water are provided. A small refrigerator is also available for your use.
We also recommend bringing a flashlight for getting around in the evening.
In the sanitary block, you will have access to running water, sinks, toilets, and pay-per-use showers. A shower costs $1 for 3 minutes of use and only $1 coins are accepted. Please remember to bring your own towels.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the mini-chalet and the sanitary block, which is located just a short walk away.
In summer, the river is accessible for swimming and fishing.
A BBQ station has been set up for you. The station is shared among mini-chalet guests, and its use is permitted from May 1 to October 31 only.

The mini-chalet is located on the Vallée Jeunesse site, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young people facing academic and/or social adjustment challenges. When you rent a chalet, dome, or house, you help support the organization’s mission: restoring hope to young people in need and helping them regain confidence in their abilities and their future!
Like a resort, the Vallée Jeunesse site features several other houses and chalets, gathering areas, and access to the Jacques-Cartier River. The surroundings are peaceful and ideal for connecting with others, gathering together, and creating unforgettable memories. Every visitor will feel as though they have stepped away from everyday life and into a timeless retreat for the duration of their stay.
The village of Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier offers all the essential shops and services for your daily needs, while the city of Quebec is easily accessible by car in about 30 minutes for more lively outings!
Getting Around:
Access is by car, and you can easily reach Old Quebec in less than 40 minutes. You will also be just a few minutes away from the famous Village Vacances Valcartier, a popular tourist destination featuring indoor water slides at Bora Parc, outdoor water attractions in summer, and tubing slides in winter.
Within just a few minutes by car, you can also enjoy a variety of resort activities, such as a day at Le Castor Golf Course, a visit to the Hôtel de Glace, a rafting adventure, or a relaxing day at the beautiful Aroma Spa. The Valcartier military base is also accessible to visitors through the Le Castor Centre.
Public transportation is not available in this area, but taxi services from the city can easily reach the property.
