Really the place was beautiful, bright, lots of light, beautiful colors. Great relaxing area, wonderful outside private area. Large television. The bedrooms are large with lots of storage and comfortably beds.The owner has thought of everything. High end hot plate, toaster oven, slow cooker fridge which is large and beautiful dishes with lots of everything. The laundry and bathroom is also set up well. Cleanliness top notch. We are spoiled for other properties and are telling friends from Victoria to book. Would definitely stay again. Good job Geraldine. Wow!

This cottage is genuinely in a class of its own. The location is central to everything being close to trails, shopping, beach and all else the island has to offer. The hosts thought of every detail including locally made scones as a welcome gift. The cottage backs up to a forested area that makes you feel like you’re nearest neighbor is miles away. The cleanliness was impeccable.

We travelled as a family of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Claymore Cottage. Geraldine left us a personal welcome note and scones from a local bakery upon arrival. As others have mentioned, the cottage is spotless and located at the end of a very private street. The patio in the backyard is good for relaxing while backing onto a wooded area. We used the BBQ once during our stay. The kitchen is well equiped with all bowls, plates, utensils and other supplies/appliances. The skylights in the kitchen let in lots of natural light. The AC is adjustable to your preferred temperature. Beds were very comfortable and lots of towels and linens available. There's a washer/dryer which is very convenient after a day at the beach. Beach towels and 2 beach chairs were also available for our use. Location of the cottage is also convenient to drive north, south or even west on the island. We will definitely book this cottage again if we are ever back on Vancouver Island.

Wonderful stay

A wonderful place to stay lovely quiet patio which is a bonus.

The cottage is beautiful, private, comfortable with everything you could need! Easy check in, great communication with GeraldineWe brought our e- Bikes and found lots of trails to ride.We give the cottage a 10/10.We will be back!!

The cottage had a back yard open to nature, We had a few deer and many bunnies pass by whilstaying. The area was quiet, relaxing, wonderful amenities. Very private.

Qualicum Beach Cozy Cottage - everything as expected

3 adults stayed here for 7 days to rest, play some golf and tennis, and to just explore the area's hikes and markets. You are a short ride from the beaches, if that is the reason for your visit, but there are other things to do as well. The cottage is comfortable and has what is needed. Wonderful quiet spot

We really enjoyed staying at Geraldine's. The suite is private and spacious. Very well equipped. It was a perfect spot from which to explore the area. Geraldine is a great host. Both non-intrusive, but available. We would stay here again.

Perfect stay

A lovely spot, feels like brand new, with everything you can think of for comfort and enjoyment. The fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with skylights, fireplace, massive tv and private patio with a view into the woods were so inviting we hardly left!! I would easily recommend this place to family and friends!! Thanks Geraldine and Chris for a wonderful stay...

Amazing Stay

Well and modern equipped cottage with an easy way to communicate with the host. It also has a nice location to go for walks and explore the beautiful city of Qualicum Beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location and perfectly appointed

The bar was set high! This place exceeded our expectations. The host thought of everything. We were happy to find a cooler to pack our lunch as we headed out to explore the area. Check in was easy, directions were easy too. We highly recommended this accommodation!

High End Stay

We were delighted with our stay at this rental! It is ever so clean, private, spacious, and beautifully furnished! The outdoor sitting area is also private with lovely trees for your view. The owners couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home! This is a real find!!

Beyond the Expected

Anyone looking for a great stay on Vancouver Island should consider this wonderful place. Located on quiet cut de sac up against a forest, this cottage is outfitted with all the comforts of home, i.e., complete kitchen, modern appliances, comfy beds, and clean as a whistle. The hosts we're prompt and cooperative in permitting me to charge the electric car overnight, which was a big help. Loved it!

Everything we wanted and more!

The 4 of us had a great stay at Geraldine’s place. The cottage and property were gorgeous and we had everything we needed plus more. The back patio was lovely for morning coffees and an evening bbq. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Qualicum!
