"Without a doubt, one of the best camps I have ever stayed at! Mara Major camp made our visit to the Masai Mara as special and unforgettable as it could be. It’s a unique ecolodge that works closely with the Maasai community, making your stay meaningful and allowing you to directly support the local community. Another highlight is that the guides are Maasai, and their incredible knowledge of the land and animal behavior leads to unforgettable wildlife encounters. The game drives were truly as...

Mara Major Camp

Maasai Mara

10/10 Excellent

Mara Major Camp is the perfect place to stay for an authentic Kenyan safari experience. The lodge staff are local Maasai that truly make the place special. We were the only guests at the camp because we stayed at the beginning of the rainy/off season and they were so attentive to us, taking care of all our needs. The food is great and the chef works hard to present you wonderful meals. He also catered to our weird food needs. One of the Maasai took us on game drives around Maasai Mara Reserve...

Ashnil Mara Camp

Maasai Mara

10/10 Excellent

Ashnil has great facilities, delicious food, and VERY comfy accommodations. Their staff is very attentive and take great care of you. One of the aspects that I feel are especially important is the location of the camp. It is situated on the banks of the Mara River and right in the middle of the Masai Mara Reserve. Some of the other "camps" are located closer to the entrances and therefore a longer drive to be in the heart of game drive country is necessary. This is my second time to stay...

Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Maasai Mara

10/10 Excellent

We spent a week in the Masai Mara. The Serena lodge is the heart of the Masai Mara conservancy which is the best kept part of the entire area. The roads are better, the animals are protected and it is the perfect destination for game drives. The Serena lodge is the only place to stay in the area and there really is no other place you would want to go. It is located a few km from the airstrip (yes you do want to fly in, don't drive from Nairobi) on top of a high mesa that looks out dozens of...

Incredible experience! The tent was clean and roomy. They are situated in great location inside the park, serene environment by the river, awesome view from the tent. All the staffs are attentive, friendly, and professional, the guards, the chefs, all of them, thank you. Beatrice, our contact staff, was so kind and attentive. She made us feel at home, and totally spoiled us! :-) The safaris were just wonderful! Leo, our guide driver, is an incredible person all around. A Masai native, he knows...

Unforgettable Safari Experience with Outstanding Staff We recently completed a 4-day, 3-night stay at Entumoto Safari Camp, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the very start, the hospitality was seamless—the team was right there waiting for us at the airstrip as soon as we arrived. A massive shout-out to our guide, Purity, and our spotter, Amos. They were exceptional at tracking game and sharing their knowledge, but more than that, their warmth and hospitality made them feel like...

Maasai Mara

I've been to Mara a few times, this is truly one of the best places to stay. I believe it's a new camp - excellent location, close to the main gate but also in the nature to make it feel like you're within the park. The views are breathtaking, one of the best sunsets I've ever seen! Good, cozy vibes as well, the staff is so friendly. You're basically in the middle of the Mara nature. Also, I highly recommend the nature walk! Get to see so many animals around (we saw giraffes, zebras,...

Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Camp - All Inclusive

Maasai Mara

10/10 Excellent

This hotel is paradise! The staff are kind, generous and available around the clock. Our safari guide Daniel was the best in Africa - he found baby lion cubs, two leopards (usually elusive), baby elephants, baby giraffes, hippos out of the water, and exotic birds - and was very knowledgeable about the land and animals. The food was delicious, especially the soups, with great vegetarian options and very accommodating to food allergies. The tent is pristine with free laundry services and lovely...

10/10 Excellent

We love our stay at Emayan. We went with our 2 daughters (5 and 9). The staff was very friendly and kind with each of us. The food was delicious, with a variety of options, and several courses. The location was safe and the Masai staff kept us safe day and night. We booked this vacation last minute and we needed extra help and recommendations for our next city in Kenya. The hotel helped us to look for a reliable tour guide and a hotel for our next city at a wonderful price. Our tour guide,...
