Horrible in-room service / dirty and torn bedlinen
Serious issues with housekeeping and room services. All the issues were reported and acknowledged by the hotel manager. Hotel manager could not help much as the booking was done through hotel.com website. The comission of hotel.com on this booking was more than INR10,000.00
The room assigned was not prepared for 3 guest. Missing towel toiletries. When we ebtered the room it was tardy with extrly dirty lamp shades and the bathroom window blind had fungus on it
The bed sheets, pillow and comforter cover were over used and torn. Broken pillows and stained mattresses.
The shower was broken that was fixed after we complained. There was a need of consant chasing of the housekeeping for providing toiletries and towel - as the room cleaning service doing proper job.
Overall the stay was a nightmare, as the room beside us was being renovated and there was noise of drilling during the day time.
The only positive of this property was the sea view...and quietness as it is a remote location.
I request hotels.com to kindly look into this matter urgently as obviously i have overpaid for this horrible stay.
Kindly note the hotel manager also informed the senior management about these issue and i had met the guy heading room service and shared all my complaints/concerns directly with him. - Room number was 731 or 713....

Excellent location for Puri and the close by beaches. Our room had a partial view of the sea.
The staff are excellent and went beyond means to make us feel comfortable !
The restaurant food is North Indian and good. We are there almost everyday. Restaurant staff too are polite.
Just a note I want to mention: A bath May would have helped in the bathroom as senior people find it hard to get out of the shower with wet feet and could be dangerous.
Also, we were 3 adults in one room and the resort charges for the extra adult to be in the room, however the amenities are not of 3 people. There are only 2 cups and tea/coffee sachets are only two. Bottled water is two bottles so perhaps this can be accommodated for 3 people.

view of sun rising and sea is amazing.
Stay was OK.
We did booking for 3 rooms and we reached the hotel at 10.45 am. First room we got at 11.30 am and the other two rooms after 12.30 pm.

I will not stay here again. Washroom was so sticky and wet. The room is 0 star. I don’t understand why Travelocity rated this as a 4 star, did someone get paid under the table? I paid for 4 star hotel but got a cheap one. The exterior of the hotel looks good, but that’s about it. I will not recommend this hotel to any foreigners, it’s only a good fit for a local person.
