"We really loved staying here. Rolando and his family were super welcoming and at the same time gave privacy in the apartment. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and loved being a bit away from the town but still close enough where it was a 30 min. walk or 5 min. drive. "Spacious, comfortable place to stay right by the lake. Safe neighborhood, secure parking, and the bilingual host treats you like family. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. "El propietario es uno de los peores con los que he tenido un trato. Se desentendio de mi reservacion. Cuando yo me llame, dijo que no tenía reservacion y lo rento a alguien más. Fue un descarado y no ayudo en nada. Me disgusto mucho esa persona."

"Plenty of room for our group of 12. The owner even came over and helped us start a fire, for the cold nights! Also had periodical cleaning which was an added bonus. Only issue we had is the downstairs shower only had cold water so we had to share the 2 upstairs between 12 folks. Not ideal but was do able. Great house in a quiet part of town."

"The property was great. Spacious, well furnished, clean, close to the main street. Easy access to shopping, transportation. The manager was easy to reach and very helpful. The building was very secure with a gated entry, alarmed building at night. The gardens are absolutely beautiful on the property. I will most definitely stay here again."

"I have stayed here 3 times now and their service is always excellent. They are super helpful. At midnight, I don't like taking taxis to the center of Quito so we always spend the 1st night there. The hostal has a unique cute style. It is conveniently located by the airport. The rooms always clean. We will continue staying there, and referring people. Oh, and they always bring breakfast to your room (always delicious and fulfilling) at no extra charge."

"We were in Quito overnight, flying out the next morning, so we wer looking for a lower cost hotel. Tababel Land offered free pickup from the airport so was perfect for ourneeds. Small but cozy and well appointed room. Great helpon check in and in getting us a taxi in the morning. Only issue was that the phone number listed went to an odd sounding recording in Spanish. But we got connected and all ended well."
