"This property is well situated,historic,accommodating,and has a great vibe and charm. The rooms are small by American standards and have mostly twin beds,but each room has a full bathroom. The kitchen was more than adequate,while the dining room and "entertainment areas (tv,stereo,cd/dvd players)" always welcomed four of five adults very comfortably. "This is a wonderful, small family owned hotel in the best walkable, quiet and scenic part of Punta del Este. Recognizing that this is an older hotel and may appear a little bit rustic, it is in the best location imaginable. It is a short walk too. The port and the dining options in the neighborhood are spectacular. It is a family run operation with friendly staff. You’ll also love to meet Rosie the poodle who greets everybody when they arrive."
