Welcome to Coastal Cozy – Punta Gorda, our family’s home away from home. Every year in Wisconsin, we complain about the cold winters and dream of staying somewhere it doesn’t snow. As a family of five with young children in school, moving is not the best option. We finally took the plunge into Florida vacation homeownership in 2022. Since our visits are limited, we look forward to sharing the home with others seeking everything a vacation in Punta Gorda has to offer.

This COMPLETELY remodeled home in 2022 is located on an oversized lot with new landscaping in the very desirable community of Punta Gorda Isles. It is only a 3-minute boat ride through the canal to open water. Biking distance to Fisherman’s Village and Downtown Punta Gorda. The home consists of 3 bedrooms, all with walk in closets, 2 well-appointed bathrooms and a wonderful, open great room concept. Brand new luxury vinyl throughout with all new kitchen cabinets, quartz countertops and stainless appliances. When you step out onto the 1,200 sq. ft. patio and pool deck, you will find all new pavers, a newly resurfaced pool, new pool pump and all new screening. The pool is heated with an electric pool heater. Enjoy the view to the canal as you sip your coffee in the morning. Boat dockage available with recommended maximum boat size of 26 feet.

As our family’s vacation home, we truly hope you find the amenities and accommodations above that of your standard rental property. Of course, we provide the standard amenities as detailed below with fresh, clean linens and bathroom supplies. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the supplies you need for either quick or gourmet meals. You just need to supply the cooking talent and the food. Beyond the average, we have provided many things that our family enjoys for you to enjoy as well. Please take a drive to one of the many area beaches and enjoy the beach toys, beach blanket, chairs, umbrella, and cooler. The bikes are free for use (helmets and locks included). For those wanting exercise on the water, please enjoy the kayaks with life jackets. Our family favorite is fishing and catching plenty of snook right off the dock. The fishing poles and tackle are available for your use as well. The latest addition is bean bag boards for use at the house and the beach.

After visiting the Punta Gorda area, we fell in love with the small-town atmosphere, friendly neighbors, and easy access to the water. There is an abundance of excellent dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The Punta Gorda area is known as a water community. The canals provide ample opportunities for boating, kayaking, and fishing. Downtown has many small stores for shopping, a beautiful historic district, and a variety of small restaurants with options for any diner. Live music is available downtown at a variety of locations. Fisherman’s Village is hugely popular with casual and fine dining, boat rentals, and shopping options. If you are looking for casual entertainment, fine dining, recreational activities, or just relaxation, Punta Gorda is your vacation spot.
