Punta Borinquen Lighthouse

the room that we had seemed massive compared to a normal suite we have had before. Two queen beds and a pull-out queen and we still had plenty of room to maneuver. My only "complaint" was the open shower concept (which I love) got a little messy at times, but was relatively easy to clean up. The room was very clean with plenty of storage space. When we checked in, the guy (wish for the life of me I could remember his name) gave us lots of local food places and places to go if we had the time. The breakfast was small with the amount of things you could have but was very fresh. The lady (cant remember her name either) cooking would make eggs for you on request, constantly seeing her making waffles and sausages. She seemed to perk up even more every time someone came down to eat. Even noticed how she handled different visitors differently when someone else checked out and started talking to her about something on a more personal level. She noticed the things we liked and catered to that, as well. In every other need we had, they were always super accommodating and helpful. They also had a bottle of wine in the room for us when we got there as a little welcoming gift.

Very spacious room and very clean! Loved that you have a kitchenette to cook your own meals. In a very quiet area and within walking distance to Viejo San Juan. Would for sure return!

The bar staff was fantastic; the room was cool The volume of guests-1:00AM and later was unmanaged by hotel management. The courtyard (which faces many rooms) had guests who were shouting, howling and loudly singing after 1:00AM.
